Ardium Studio was created by Danella Lucioni, a Peruvian-born and American polyhedric artist and designer. In 2013 she sold her clothing company and left a booming modeling career in Los Angeles, California to start a life in Florence, where she had studied for 3 months as a teenager and couldn’t get the Duomo out of her mind since. A few months after she moved to Florence, she found a tiny, unused and abandoned storage space in Piazza Duomo. She swooped it up and little by little started to renovate it and create her artist’s studio. They can host up to 4 guests each, with the option to combine the two into an open space for up to 8 guests! South Wing: This beauty features two double bedrooms facing the Duomo, one bathroom, and one living room plus a kitchenette facing the baptistery. The most unique feature: a GORGEOUS private balcony connecting the master bedroom with the living room. North Wing: This spacious place has two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom, a second full bathroom, and a large dining room with a fully equipped food-lovers kitchen! Dine in Tuscan style on a table for up to 8 people overlooking the Duomo! Both apartments are divided by a 42db soundproof flush-to-wall door that can be opened upon request if both apartments are rented together. The renovations are ran by our design studio. Special efforts have been made to uncover and restore the frescoes, serene stone, and ancient bricks found hidden under the walls and ceiling for centuries. Every single room is designed by artist Danella Lucioni, featuring unique art by her and local artisans, elegant Italian antiques from the 1800’s, as well as some furniture and doors handcrafted by Danella with the materials salvaged from the renovations or sourced from local olive wood farms.
